1. OBEDIENCE

MATTHEW 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

LUKE 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

JOHN 14 :15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

JOHN 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

2. OLD AGE

JOB 12:12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

PROVERBS 16:31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

1 TIMOTHY 5:1-2 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

Vs.2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

TITUS 2:2-4 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Vs.3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Vs.4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children..

LEVITICUS 19:32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord.

3. ORDAIN

ACTS 6:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

ACTS 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
