1. TALEBEARER

PROVERBS 11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

PROVERBS 18:8 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

PROVERBS 20:19 He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.

 

2. TEMPERANCE

ROMANS 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

PHILIPPIANS 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

1 CORINTHIANS 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

 

3. TEMPLE

1 CORINTHIANS 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Vs.17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Vs.20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

EPHESIANS 2:21-22 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Vs.22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

JOHN 2:19-21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Vs.20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

Vs.21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

 

4. TEMPTATION

PROVERBS 14:27 The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

MATTHEW 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

JAMES 1:12-15 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Vs.13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Vs.14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Vs.15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

 

5. TESTIMONY

PSALMS 145:11-22 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

Vs.12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

LUKE 12:8-9 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Vs.9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

REVELATION 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

 

6. TESTS

JAMES 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Vs.3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

1 PETER 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

 

7. THANKSGIVING

EPHESIANS 5:3-4 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Vs.4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

 

8. THEFT

EPHESIANS 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

1 PETER 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

 

9. TONGUES

MARK 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

ACTS 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

ACTS 10:44-46 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Vs.45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Vs.46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

1 CORINTHIANS 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:14-15, 39 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Vs.15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Vs.39.... forbid not to speak with tongues.

 

10. TROUBLE

JOHN 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Vs.2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Vs.3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Vs.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 PETER 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

 

11. TRUTH

PSALMS 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

JOHN 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

Vs.32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

JOHN 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Vs.17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

JOHN 17:17-19 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Vs.18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Vs.19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

JOHN 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cainto the world, that I should use came I bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice
