The Resurrection is the reunion of the bodies and souls of people, which have been
separated by death. The word resurrection means to make stand, or rise up. Every person that ever lived will be resurrected, this will take place in two phases, the resurrection of thejust and the resurrection of the unjust. These two phases of the resurrection will be separated by one thousand years, which will be the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ.

JOHN 5:29   And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of
life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

ACTS 24:15   And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there
shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.

DANIEL 12:2   And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

REVELATION 20:4-6   Vs.5...but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Phase 1

* Will occur at the 2nd. coming of Jesus Christ, it will include Old Testament and New
  Testament Saints of God.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-18   Vs.16...For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

Phase 2

REVELATION 20:11-15   Vs.13...And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and
death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
  man according to their works.
