The Trinity       The Holy Spirit       The Bible       Man-Created       Man is Lost       Heaven is Real
Hell is Real       Satan is Real           The Resurrection

God the Holy Spirit is a person, as much as the Father and Son are persons, and therefore, has the elements that are involved, within a personality. Some traits of his personality are as follows:

_______________________________

HE HAS A WILL

1 CORINTHIANS 12:11   But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit: dividing to
every man severally as he will.

HE SPEAKS

ACTS 8:29   Then the Spirit said unto Phillip, go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

ACTS 10:19   While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, behold three
 men seek thee.

ACTS 13:2   As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, separate me
Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

HE GRIEVES

EPHESIANS 4:30   And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto
 the day of redemption.

HE PRAYS

ROMANS 8:26   Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what
we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with
 groanings which cannot be uttered.

THERE IN CREATION

GENESIS 1:2   And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the
face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. ( see also Job
 26:13, 33:4, and Psalms 104:30 )

IS CALLED GOD

ACTS 5:3-4   But Peter said Ananias why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy
Ghost, and to keep part of the price of the land?
Vs.4   While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold was it not in thine
own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto
 men, but unto God.
