Jesus appeared to him and said “ Blessed are they that have not seen and yet believe” The word of God gives birth to our faith and that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ( Hebrews 11:1 ) The resurrection of Jesus was bodily, as the first fruit, of them that sleep. ( 1 Corinthians 15:20 )

In Luke 24:36-43...Jesus appeared to his disciples, ate food with them and they touched
him.

Matthew 16:21   From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples how that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the 3rd. day.

Luke 24:46   Thus it it written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the 3rd. day.

Acts 26:23   That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people and to the Gentiles.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4   For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures:
Vs.4   And that he was buried, and that he rose again the 3rd. day according to the scriptures.

Romans 4:25   Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our
justification.

1 Thessalonians 4:14   For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
