The King   The King's Authority   People of the Kingdom   Entrance into Kingdom

Some principles of Kingdom   The Future Kingdom

A.  By the New Birth

JOHN 3:3-5   Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5.  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

* For God to reign in the heart of man, a change must take place in man’s heart. The
change takes place when a person hears the gospel, repents of their sins and accepts
Jesus Christ as their Savior. It’s not turning over a new leaf, doing good works, going
to church, or any such thing: man is lost in sin; his heart ( spirit ) is corrupt in nature and
therefore he cannot save himself, by his own efforts. The good news is that God sent his
Son Jesus Christ, to save us.

EZEKIEL 36:26   A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within
you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart
  of flesh.

TITUS 3:5   Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
  mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

1 CORINTHIANS 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

B.  By translation

COLOSSIANS 1:13   Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

* Upon receiving Christ into our hearts and lives, we are translated into the Kingdom of
God; Jesus Christ is the head of the church and we are citizens of his Kingdom.
